Default t56 to TH400 Conversion

Hello Guys I recently blew my t56 in my ls1 2001 camaro SS and im considering swapping in a gen 3 5.3 ls motor with a Th400 trans behind it with the intentions to turbo the 5.3. My question is what exactly will I need in order to properly make both the 5.3 motor and the th400 trans fit in my fbody when converting from an ls1/t56. From what ive read so far i will need the following.

-Th400 trans
-5.3 motor
-Flexplate/ or torque converter with extended snout that fits a th400 and ls motor
-BMR crossmember/torque arm relocation
-Custom or modified stock driveshaft
-A4 pedal assembly
- shifter to work with the TH400

Im looking for a complete build list so please, if I am missing parts Let me know exactly what I will need. For example will the 5.3 drop right in and work with my ls1 computer and harness?

Thank you

If someone who has done this conversion can chime in I would greatly appreciate it.

Haven't done it, but in the process of gathering info myself. Search turned up some good articles, also placed a call to FTI and they're were very gracious with the info, might be worth a call.

We have a really cool option for the non lock up transmissions. 3 pad design with 3 holes each - big and small GM and LS bolt pattern - so it will fit any LS flexplate we have even seen. OE, SFI, 4L80, 4L60, 6L80....and it has a screw on pilot for the regular short style LS crank or we can use a shorter pilot for the long crank LS or SBC/BBC setups. And we can do this in a 245mm, 258mm 265mm and our new 252mm option.

This options makes converter swap super easy, no adapters or spacers necessary and does not matter what flexplate you have - it will work.
