Default Corvette lost 4th gear (4l60e)

My '98 C5 no longer has 4th. Even when my tuner commanded it, it was a no-go. I thought when you lost 4th gear, third went with it because they shared clutches. Before I plunk down $$$ on another costly rebuild, I wanted a few opinions.

check the feed circuit for the band servo. the band is engaged for both 2nd and 4th but they use separate feed circuits. If there is a leak or blockage in the feed circuit for 4th, that band won't lock up and you won't have 4th.

I like your style Maroon. I was thinking of pulling and inspecting the pin as well and seeing if it was the issue. I was told billet servos are not recommended (now I know) for mild builds.

The loss of 4th gear only would point to a servo or band issue or clearance, What serves are you using ? For instance is you use the superior billet servo with the sonax overdrive servo an issue can happen where as the band wears or stretches the travel of the 4th servo can become so great it collides with the disk that separates the 2nd from 4th servo stopping fourth apply, In this case the work around is either change to the sonax billet second servo or the corvette servo or the other option is to replace the gold washer used with the sonax over drive servo with a smaller washer like is present under the clip and above the spring in the second servo part this will eliminate the washer colliding with the inner disc and allow the increased travel the thickness of twice the thickness of that washer.
