Default 4l60e behind a lq4?

Hey guys, let me admit that I am completely ignorant with automatics. I am swapping a lq4 into my 05 Sierra z71 with a 200k mile 4l60e. The history on my trans is unknown. My question is to what sort of rebuild do I need to handle the new motor? At most the lq4 will get a mild cam and LT's.

I would suggest a mild build from a competent builder. Something better then stock is preferred. To get an idea, look at some builds from the sponsors in their levels 1 or 2. That should give you a idea on the parts upgrades.

A 4L60e comes in most mid size trucks. So it shouldn't be a problem

We have a local builder that does mild performance build for around $1100 if you bring him the trans. Highly recommend by local racers. That's the kind of builder I would recommend you find. Mine is 95 miles away but very worth the drive. I have one of his 60s in my camaro and recently put one in my yukon as well.
