You can never go wrong with Rossler. Call him and he will spec you a Trans and is excellent service. Spent a nice amount of his time with me to spec a 210xhd.

Rodney at RPM.

I saw some stuff with rossler that I found very odd, Like factory TH400 parts in a trans that they built for twin 98mm 481x BAE Hemi.

Rodney couldn't believe it when he pulled it apart at the track

There are many great builders of the TH400's. Compare everything to make sure you are getting the best value. Customer service is something you cant put a price on.

??? Many people have swapped powerglide to t400, or t400 to powerglide and not even noticed 1 tenth in the 1/4

2 different ways of achieving the same thing.

The 3 speed is nicer on the street, can run a taller rear gear and have more top speed and less cruise rpm and still have more than enough performance.

We noticed an improvement in ET and MPH by switching to an RPM TH400 (3 speed TH400 at that)

with a 1.86 first gear it works out well with getting the optimum starting line ratio that we're looking for. Have been 1.123 60' at a little under 3290lbs in race weight.
