Default What is wrong with my 4L60?

I bought a used Performabuilt LV2 trans, installed (w/3800 converter) and it was working great for about 10 1/8 mile passes. Now reverse is binding so bad it will stall the engine, no neutral (tires spin forward when in neutral) and 1- 4 seem fine. I first was hoping it was a cable alignment/adjustment...but after putting it on my lift it does the same thing, (disconnected cable) when shifting lever by hand, car idling on the lift. Park to reverse= tires rotate about two turns and binds up. Reverse to neutral=tires start to spin forward. And 0D, D, 2, to 1st downshifts normal.
Clutches? or Worse?
It is the 1998 in sig.

The Forward Clutch is stuck "on". Whether it's Mechanical or Hydraulic is the question. I would pull it & find out what went wrong.
