Default Corvette 6l80e adaptability

I think I used to know the answer to this question but I can't remember now, but is it worth it or possible to convert a corvette auto w/ transaxle style input/output to a normal behind the engine type, specifically the 6l80e? I tried to search this but couldn't get anywhere,

I suspect the answer is "crazy difficult", but which model Corvette are you referring to?

No it's not worth it. Cheaper to buy the one that mounts to engine if you are going to use one. Again if you are going to install one, you want to put it behind an LS3/7 for compatible electronic interface between ECM & TCM.

Yeah I started looking at the differences in appearance, and it looks like at least input and output, bell housing, and tail shaft housing, maybe good for internal parts. I would be installing behind an LS3
