Hi I have a crate 4l85 supermatic trans 19300175 it's the 97 and newer version, going in my 69 Camaro. Can anyone tell me which shift lever goes on this trans ? It has the long rod sticking out and is a . I know some guys have put these in 5th gen Camaros and used the original shifter, whitch is what I want to do. I would like to know if they used the shift lever from the 6l80 or a differant one? Any help will be appreciated.

I don't have a full answer for you but maybe this be of info may help, My stock fbody 4l60e shifter and linkage worked for fine for my 4l80e, just required adjusting the linkage.
