4L60E > 4L70E swap
4L60E > 4L70E swap Just another swap post,
Before I tried this swap, I could not find any concrete information that the 70E would be a direct swap cause of the additional sensors and different pressure control solenoid.
I contacted an old Trans shop guy, and he said I Should not have any issues, as he even said that the different pressure control Sol. might create an issue.
After doing the swap, Plug and Play, NO problems. Taking it to him 2maro for a shift kit.
I was skeptical as this 70 E was in another truck before, though it was a manual. Only issue I had with it in that truck was > 70mph, the TCC would go on / off . I could not figure it out nor a few shops.
