Default 4L70E: adding stall and corvette servo. Need anything else?

Have a 10k mile 4l70e out of a SS TB going behind a Lq4 with 243 heads and a tick cam. FTI 4K billet stall

Car is a 2,900lb 65 Chevy Nova. 3:50 gear

Any other simple upgrades to help the trans survive a couple years?

Transgo shift kit? HD2 or just standard?

Thanks
Mike

As the transmission is on the bench, I'd definitely recommend the HD-2 with aggressive drilling of the separator plate if you want firm, crisp shifts with that converter. Plus the other benefits, such as eliminating PWM and better hi-rpm oil flow.

There are some Sonnax pieces that can further improve performance and longevity along with the HD-2. Search for posts by mrvedit that detail those Sonnax parts; I don't remember them as my HD-2 was installed long before they became available.
