I have a 2004 4l80E with the single connector for the Neutral safety switch/MLP.

My wiring harness is out of a 2003 avalanche. I tried to plug in the connectors from the harness to the trans, as I read somewhere that it would fit, but it would not.

Does anyone know how to wire the single plug with the earlier style harness so I use the plug that is already on the trans instead of what is on the harness.






I want to use this type of connector that is already on the transmission.

 

The quickest and easiest way is just buy a new P/N switch,the other way is break out the schematics and re-pin or solder and heat shrink.
