Default th400 swap questions

hey guys, im swapping a th400 transmission into my 93 camaro behind a lq9. My question is what size tail shaft is needed ? ive seen 4", 6" and 9". also what drive shaft is needed ? thanks in advance

Any tail shaft you'd like. Short tail is the most common. And ideally you would measure for the driveshaft once the trans is in the car, though most companies have lengths that *should* work based on your setup.

You will need a 32 spline yoke and most likely an adapter U-joint to mate the new yoke to your existing driveshaft. In regards to length of yoke, 6" is the most common, and you will need to measure very carefully in regards to driveshaft length.
