choices for autos w/ OD I have a 98 SS M6. I have been considering a swap for an automatic and I really want overdrive.
I have been shying away from a 4L60E because I don't want to get into cutting up my wiring harness and buying another pcm.
Is there a stand alone controller or another way to make it work wthout getting into the wiring harness?
I have also considered a Ford AOD conversion from Lentech but don't necessarily want a ford tranny. Plus, it's a tad pricey.
This leaves the TH350/400 with the addition of a gear vendors od. Has anyone run this setup?
Basically... Is there a way to convert to automatic w/ od without altering my wiring harness/pcm that won't cost me an arm and a leg?
