4l60 problem Yesterday on my way home from work i started having and issue with my 99 Trans am's transmission. First gear is completely fine but as soon as it shifts to 2nd it wants to free rev up to 3K+ rpms before it gains any speed. It will do this in every gear but first. It wont shift out of those gears until i completely let off the gas. This is a completely stock car and i wasnt having any issues until yesterday. If anyone has any suggestions they would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like you have an internal issue possibly a broken band assuming you still have reverse, Looks like your doing 1-3 shift no 2nd
