4l80e stuck in limp home mode Hello.
I have a 4l80e from what the junkyard says was a 2005 2500. Had tcc issues which was stalling the engine at a stop. I took the valve body put and reamed the afl line and installed an oversize valve and replaced a and b solenoids. Reinstalled and truck was in 2nd gear only. Pulled valve body and got a good used one from a buddy amd reinstalled it with a sonnax shift correction kit. Verified my ***** 20 times and reinstalled everything. Fluid is good but trans wont shoft from second. I have verified 12v to the trans plug and the trans shifts with hp tuners and registers on the scanner. This is while sitting in the garage though. What would make this go to limp mode.The only codes i have are for brake switch which was pending and vehicle speed circuit a.

I pulled each wire from the transmission harness connector and tested continuity and verified they are in the right spot. All wires are fine. All solenoids and components check fine via resistance. I can command gears via hp tuners and they switch with a click. I dont know what else would make the trans stay in 2nd gear and not shift. This is getting annoying. Im about to make this trans shift via toggle switches.
