Default Need flexplate help!!!

Okay so I haven't even tried to fit my transmission cause I'm having issues with a flex plate. It wont line up with my starter.

At first I had a starter from a corvette, and I tried a peanut flexplate and a circle dished flexplate. Both did not line up with the starter so I bit the bullet on a truck starter and I'm having the same issue (At first I thought the starters were different)

I have an Supposedly 02 LQ4. I know it's a LQ4 but I can't confirm the year. I'm trying to fit a 04 4l60e onto it.
It looks like theres a crank spacer on there but its threaded so I'm assuming it's apart of the crank. Is there a special flexplate I need to get this done? I reversed the dished circle flex plate and was able to get it to crank with the starter but of course I don't think a torque converter would bolt on this way... I'm planning to put this motor and trans in my Iroc as a retrofit. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Can you post a picture of the end of the crank for us?

It sounds like you might have a long crank motor and need a flat flexplate or remove the crank extender for proper fitment with the dished style flexplate. Here is a link to a sticky that might shed some light. https://ls1tech.com/forums/automatic...s-spacers.html
