Hey guys, my buddy just picked up a 2008 NNBS Silverado 2wd Single Cab 5.3 with no trans, It had the 4L60E Behind it at one point. He is going to use it as a work truck and needs to get a trans. We found a 2009 4L60E for sale locally and was wondering if it is plug and play. I was told the 2009-2013 was the finally "Form" of the 4L60E and the internal wiring harness is a bit different inside. It does not use a Manifold Pressure Switch and the valve body is different. I am hoping the plug is the same and will work, really cant pass it up for $150 with only 76,000 Miles on it. I do know for sure they both use a 300mm input shaft and everything else (Other than internal sensors and wiring) is identical.

So any trans Gurus have any insight if it is truly a plug and play with no modifications? If not, I will look for a 2007.5-2008 4L60E.
