4L60E Slipping in OD?
I bought it a few years back. The owner claimed it was rebuilt, which I confirmed when I had the Yank SS3600 converter installed. The stock replacement, which had been placed during the rebuild was for a 6.0 truck back in 2013.
After driving a while with the Yank SS3600 I had a code thrown. Well it "fixed" itself but I changed back to the stock converter just because the stall was a little much for driving on the street with just headers.
Well a few weeks again I went to a buddy's house to install some LCA relocation brackets and on the way back the trans started acting funny. I felt like it would shift to OD but slowly "slip" back and then lock up. While at my friends house we launched the camaro a few times to try out the newly installed relocation brackets.
I attached a video on here of what it looks like under light throttle. I am hoping it is not the 3-4 clutches going to crap. What do yall think?
I did have a shop add a few extra mph to try and minimize the shift gap between 2nd and 3rd gear. I don't know all the details on anything else. The line pressure was increased since first hits pretty hard (it was detuned some from after putting the stock stall back in). Hope that helps.
