Hope you all can see in the pic what I'm referring to, looks like someone (not me), put what looks like black sealant around where the trans dipstick tube goes into the transmission. SMH.
GM auto transmissions do not call for any kind of RTV anywhere..........Ever. The dipstick tube uses a rubber boot type seal, Not easy to change on a 4th Gen F-body.
