I have a 2000 silverado 4x4 with a 4L40E that went bad so I bought a rebuilt 4L60E,installed it and my tow/haul light stays on and I can't turn it off,but when I drove the truck it would not shift out of low,low and reverse works great,so I checked the numbers on the tranny and was told it was out of a 2004 cargo van(4CAD) is the numbers then I learned that the 2000 and the 2004 trannys have different wiring configuration on the transmission plug,both trannys have 13 pins in the plugs,I took the wiring harness out of my old tranny but was wanting to know if I could just change the configuration on the plug on my truck to match the tranny,I cant seem to find a diagram that shows the configuration of both tranny,because to remove my pan I have to remove the exhaust and my front drive line to be able to drop the pan,and changing the wiring would be much easier at this point,my old tranny also has a M-30 on the side of it
