2005 escalade transmission all wheel drive type transfer case. bought the whole truck to use for a future ford foxbody swap.
is the transmission useable at a reasonable price to convert to rwd? if it is, home mechanic type of job.

Fairly easy conversion, You will need a 2wd Output Shaft W/ Reluctor, 2wd extension housing, VSS Sensor, & Make SURE the extension housing bushing lube orifice is there/drilled.
Pull the Pump, 4th/2nd Servo, Lift the Band off the Anchor, Remove Input Drum/Reverse Input Drum, Remove the snap ring holding the Output shaft.
Reverse the order to reinstall except install the band after the Input Drum/Reverse Input Drum is installed.
