So after getting my 4l60 rebuilt I put the car back together it drives perfectly fine for about 40 miles. I go to drive the car again but after about 2-3 minutes of driving the tranny looses gear and pretty much goes into neutral by itself. I put it on 1,2,3 and nothing even if I manually shift it won't work. But when I let the car rest for about 5 mins and turn it back on it drive perfect then again all over.... I know nothing's wrong with the pump or else it would NEVER drive so that's out the window anybody ever have this problem ??? Anything helps

Sounds like the trans filter is stopped up. Was the torque convertor replaced? There is most likely clutch martial in the pan. I would call the builder for warranty.
