gear ratio

gear ratio 68camaro conv 6.0 ls motor 6l90 trans to a 9in ford rear....345x30x18 back tire 26in tall about 600hp...what rear ratio would u recomend for street use only...i need to beat that new camaro at the light?

Is your 6L90 setup to use its very high ration 1st gear?
If yes, even with a 3.27 rear, you will probably have traction problems in a 1st Gen Camaro.
If you disable the 1st gear, I would suggest a 3.73 rear.
(Considering the two overdrive gears, a 3.73 is probably best regardless - you will have to learn to be easy on the throttle in 1st gear.)
What kind of rear suspension and/or addons are you running?
And what kind of tires? You really need drag radials like a Nitto NT05R, although the longer wearing Nitto NT555 might be a better choice.
