New 4L80 What would cause a new trans to not go into reverse, seems like there is no reverse at all, totally new build on trans with new converter, fluid level is full and dipstick is a Lokar billet checked at pan for accuracy... it will go into forward gears and tires roll, mind you this is a fresh build and the car is on a lift, still setting up the ECU, never driven yet... I'm thinking something could be off adjustment.... any idea's? It will go into Park and just seems to have no reverse, yet goes into all other forward gears....
This car does have a transbrake, so I'm sure it was tested and dyne'ed prior to being sent out... must be something simple

Whos transbrake? Are you sure you don't have to activate the transbrake for reverse? Like the Jakes D3 "Our D3 transbrake allows for transbrake operation in any forward gear range. It requires transbrake activation for reverse."
Exactly, didn't get those details, talked with Jakes shop today and they emailed me the info... will have to see how this works when I get back to the shop... They are always very helpful!!
