Default Shifts D to R

Hi there i have a strange problem when i shift D to R shift engages hard some times. when the car is cold its not acting like that when the car is hot the D to N shift engages are hard. 1-2-3-4 shifts are nice there is no problem.

I had a similar issue last year. Mine would shift nicely but from park to drive or reverse, reverse to drive etc it was HARD. After getting advice here, it turned out to be caused by a faulty TPS. It wasn't reading zero at idle and so the gearbox line pressure was being raised up.
