Default 4l60e shifter mounted switch pin-out

Hi - I believe I've done my due diligence in searching through the threads but could only find a pin-out diagram for the 6-pin connector to the shifter mounted switch for a manual transmission. I am trying to figure out what pins E and F (Purple White and Dark Green respectively) go to for the 4l60e transmission. The contacts for these wires are closed only when the shifter is in Neutral where the pins for the neutral safety switch are closed in Park and Neutral. Anyone know what the E/F wires are for on the 4l60e?
Thanks in advance.

You might want to recheck that. The purple/white, and dark green wires contact in Park and Neutral also. Those are for the hatch release safety. The neutral safety are bigger wires and wider terminals on the switch plug.

I have a switch on my bench and just checked it again because I have a camaro shifter in my 5.3 swapped s10 and need to wire reverse lights so I've been looking at that switch myself. I also figured out what to do with the wires that go to that switch when swapping a 2002 camaro to a manual transmission.

I probably had a better answer back then.

Thanks for that - I did double check and they do contact in Park as well - guess I didn't have my meter pressed against the terminals securely the first time.
