Default In the market for a built 4L80e, suggestions?

I'm building another turbo GTO. I am expecting about 1000-1100 flywheel HP. Car is a street car and may see the track 1 time a year with no heavy duty launching. Do not need a trans brake and I want to keep computer controlled. Not looking to break the bank either. There's lots of options out there, who has had good luck with what and at what price?

Thanks!
Adam

Bend over?

Seriously, online builders are freaking proud ($$$) of their transmissions. Its kind of annoying.

I know! I built my last 4L80e with a couple friends and had under $1k in the whole thing and it lasted 4 years until the input shaft snapped running 9s @ 4000lbs. I just wanted something a little sturdier this time. Hmm

OP I'm in the same boat as you. It seems that for your power goal you're going to spend 4 grand or so. Pricey. Jakes and extreme automatics have good reviews.
