Converter Re-Stall help..what to get
Ok right now i have a midwest 3,000 stall 2.0str converter and im seriously looking to get it restalled but unsure of what stall to get. Was thinking something along the lines of 4,000 stall and 1.7str. Want something thats going to keep the rpms up high but not hit the tires as hard off the line to keep spinning to a min. Any feedback from people with 4k stall let me know. Basically a street car with some track use. I dont mind the slipping/loose fealing. Of course i should have gone bigger the first time around. oh well let me get it right this time. Oh what could i expect to gain by going to a 4,000 stall vs the 3,000. I did pick up .3 or so over stock with this converter and spinning tires.
