Default 6l90e help

I have researched and looked till the cows come home and can not find what i'm looking for. I have a 2010 6l90e from a 2500hd 2wd. I can not find any info on the parts i need to swap the output shaft to make it a 4wd transmission. (36 spline to a 29 sline).

Alternately I have found a 6l90e 4wd from a 2014 truck, will it work behind my L96 6.0l??? I have the e38 ecm.
TIA

You will need a Seal (Paper & Rubber) Kit, Filter, & Output GM part# 19260888 ('07-'12 retrofit).

When you have the case emptied out, Test fit the 2 small seals at the back of the Case!!! You may have to drill the holes out & it would suck to find that out after assembly! The T-Case adapter on these is DRY, It takes 3 seals to seal it up.....The one around the output shaft & 2 small ones.

The BIG center support snap ring can be walked out with a screw driver.....Just be careful!!

I really don't like mismatching the TCM's & ECM's, It can turn into a mess!! Worst case scenario you need to recover the VIN from your E38, Buy a new TCM & have it flashed/programmed with GM SPS.
If you try to flash a newer program in a older E38.....It may "brick" it!!

If the 2014 trans came out of a vehicle with a E38 (2500/3500 truck/van) & you can locate the actual one from the same vehicle........Buy it along with the trans so you have a matching pair.
