Default T56 to 4l60e swap question

My 2001 SS Camaro had a T56 but after I pulled the motor (#7 piston melted) I ended up selling the transmission. My goal was always to put the motor in my 71 Camaro and run an automatic behind it. I've decided I really miss driving the 2001 so I want to put the motor back in it. My question is this. Is it a big hassle to make the 2001 an automatic now? Do I need a new PCM, wiring harness, etc...? Would I be better off to find another T56 and just put that back in? Eventually I will put this motor and trans in the 71 so I really don't want to buy two different transmissions.

It's not worth converting just to drive a car you obviously don't want.....You got trans crossmember, shifter, shift cable, shift cable bracket, shift arm, cooler, & cooler lines on top of the wiring & PCM segment swap.
