4l60E straight cut gears
4l60E straight cut gears Hey guys
I've been doing a lot of searching and was wondering if there are any inexpensive straight cut gear sets out there for a 4L60E
I know some of the 2500 6L80s had straight gears... Could those be swapped?
I want the straight cut delivery and the whine for my LS E30 project and the size of the 6L80 concerns me.

I'm not aware of any straight cut carriers for the 4L60E, Besides.....Helical cut gears are stronger. The only advantage to straight cut gears is reduced "Thrust Load" which is the LAST thing to be concerned about with a 4L60E.
