Tranny fluid - 4l80e

Dex3 or Dex6??? Feels like it does not matter.

Do I need Synthetic or straight stuff is probably the real question I have.

Running it behind a 3 season driver. 1974 C10 with a 4.8 and small turbo pushing 500whp.

Oh my converter is roughly a 3600 stall and I'll be tuning a B&M tranny cooler.

To date I have never run synthetic in any part of my rides. This is a first time tranny rebuild (clutches/HD2) and I didn't want to dump big cash into the fluid only to find I screwed something up

Super Tech dex 6 from Walmart will work just fine

I called and talked with the good folks at Yank where I bought my PA3400. Info from Yank was not to use any synthetic trans fluid use a quality rated DexIII
