Default Torque converter bolts

I bought a performance plus 3600 stall for my trans am and my stock bolts will not thread in the stall, even 1 size down from stock bolts are too small. I called the manufacturer and told me use 10x 1.5 bolts. Is that stock size? Don’t flame me on buying a cheap stall

the ARPs are 15mm long for the stock flexplate.....my thicker TCI flexplate required a 20mm bolt

I do recommend the ARPs over the 8mm hex head stock bolts

Hex and standard head. Makes it easy to get to and gives you a backup option if you round one or the other off.

Any parts store has them. If your converter is different, only you will know. Get a thread checker or a tap and die set and check for yourself.
