Guys, I am building a basic LS3/ TVS2300 2wd Silverado with a 4L80e trans. The truck will never see the track, but the trans did not come with the boat anchor 71lb stock 4L80e converter... so I need to buy something. I am hearing a lot about the Circle D 278mm 2600-2800 and that it will "flash" up to 4k or so, which seems counter intuitive that I would want to skip that much of the powerband considering the whole point of a TVS is off idle torque. Anyone have advice on a stock-type converter that will hold up to 600-650whp?

 

Chris at circle D has a good recipe for a supercharger type converter. Give him a shout.
