Th400 to 4L80

Th400 to 4L80 I currently have a th400 paired to a lq4 in my street car, and want a 4L80 for that extra over drive gear. Other then the drivedshaft, is it a straight transmission swap, or do I need a different converter/flex plate/shifter/ other swap parts?
Yes, you'll need all of those, the th400 converter is different. Flex plate should be fine as usually the converter is modified to bolt a Th400 to a LS. What shifter do you currently have? What engine management do you have? You'll need the associated wiring and TCM control to use the 4l80 as well as engine inputs. You'll need a trans cross member and dip stick as well. What car is this going in?
