4l60e deep pan temp reduction?

4l60e deep pan temp reduction? I tried to search but didn’t find nd much beyond a deep pan will help. What kind of temp reductions can be exspected with the switch to a deep aluminum pan vs a stock pan. Also I know about ground clearance issues but if there are other issues as well I may not be considering let me know.

I can't give ya a exact answer but will give my thoughts.
The biggest thing that will help temps is a well placed and good sized cooler.
A deeper pan will help with fluid starvation on the 2-3 shift along with slightly over filling and will also help with temps.
Running something like 60/40 dex/hydraulic fluid will also help drop temps about 10-15 degrees along with, imo, more stable/ better feeling shifts.

the only thing i didnt like about my pan was it came with crazy bolts that take a special socket. the bolts have like 12 points if memory serves and i finally bought the correct socket from a snap on tool truck for $20!

Ok good information besides just pan results. I do have as much cooler as I can fit in the location I want it to be in. Just looking for some extra margin and seeing if a deep pan might provide that.
