Speedometer problems With recently getting a 98 trans am, the speedometer tries to work, going 5-10mph it works perfect. But after that it will climb at a rapid rate, going 20mph but the car would read 50mph. 30=80, anything after about 32mph and it’s stuck at 150. Replaced the speed sensor on the 4l60e. Still the same thing. I’m wondering if the cluster is broken. Any ideas?

Easy check is to scan the live data and see if the scanned speed matches what the cluster is trying to show or not.
If the live data shows 150...then there are a bunch of causes...wildly different rear gear/tire size (i mean DRASTIC)...or a tune that has the improper tire ratio in it
If the live data shows actual road speed but the cluster shows 150...then it might be the cluster
