Default LS1 Powerglide Conversion

Got a LS1 with a custom LS1 Converter to suit a Powerglide , I know I won't need the spacer since the converter is built for the Conversion , but I have a Flexplate from a mate that was for use with the spacer , can I use that flexplate

Which spacer is the flexplate setup for? There is one to go between the flexplate and crank, and another that goes in between the converter and flexplate.

That should be a dished LS1 style flexplate then so you should be able to use it with the custom Powerglide converter.

Make sure you get at least 1/8" of pilot engagement into the crank and your converter spacing should be 1/8" to 3/16"

I've been running a ls1 and powerglide combo for two years with a fti sst converter, flat oem flywheel with spacer between flywheel and crank. I wanted to upgrade the flywheel to a sfi unit. Ordered a b&m 20340. When it came in I found out that it is the dished flywheel. Can I use it and move same spacer to between flywheel and converter. Rebuilding trans and cant confirm spacing yet for pilot. Was looking for answers cause im on a time crunch
