4L70E Slow to Downshift 3-2 I'm the original owner of a 2006 TBSS AWD with a stock LS that currently has 110k miles. For the last few months, when I do a part throttle downshift from 3 to 2, I get a sluggish shift that results in the rpms going up before the gear engages. I have no issues at WOT. Only other issue I had with the tranny around 90k miles was a dirty MAF that was causing hard shifts. Cleaning the MAF solved that issue. I have done all the maintenance on/before schedule. Last filter change was at 95k miles. When this 3-2 issue started, I did the flush procedure (3 quarts at a time) with no improvements. Anything you recommend I check next? Thanks

A downshift flare is caused by the 3/4's coming off faster than the band is applying (coming on).
I would bet your band clearance is pretty loose.
Check it (multiple threads on this site that show you how) and report back.
If too loose, you can remedy it pretty easily but it's usually indicative of a worn band
As with any 60e problems there can be a multitude of solenoid issues or valve body leaks...but I would start by checking codes (which I'm guessing you did before posting here) and then checking band clearance
