Hey all...had a disaster with the valve body ('95 4L60e). A mix-up with valves/springs on one side of the valve body. Picture tells the story. Thing is the valves in the ATSG schematic appear different in a couple of places. Be grateful if someone could sort this mess out....hell, I'd pay! I 'think' columns 1 and 2 are right, esp. column 1, but the ATSG shows no spring.
Ah, you got one of the two bastard years. Here's a better valve body diagram but it applies to '96 and later. Looks like some of the stuff is the same. One of the experts like mrvedit, bbond105, etc could help you better

Based on YOUR ATSG manual, the valves you have laid out for 3 and 4 should be swapped. Looks like you're missing the abuse valve that goes in 4 and the little thing that the pin goes in 4 in between the abuse valve and the 3-2 downshift valve.
I think the springs in 3 and 4 *might* need to be swapped. They are slightly different sizes and the one in 4 is supposed to be a little bigger than 3.
Missing a spring in 4.
Bore 1 looks fine, assuming you have a '95 that was PWN. The little guy is the isolator valve and the bigger one is the regulator valve.
Bore 2 looks fine.

Thanks for that Cory. I'm with you on my having the 3 and 4 reversed...I'll switch those around. I have the abuse valve, spring and pin/retainer plug (or whatever its called!) already installed. Thanks again for your time. Jake
And get sonnax P/N 77964-08k to replace those silver end plugs. I will almost gaurantee there is some decent leakage in that 95 valve body and those will help cure some leaks.
Also get P/N 77754-21 from sonnax and use it in place of the stock piece in row # 4 (p.s. it's already been mentioned...but you don't have all of row 4 out of the valve body)
