How to convert a 4L80E to 2WD Hi
I recently buy a Vortec 6000 and tranny combo that came from
a 2002 4x4 truck
How can i convert these tranny to a 2WD version
I want to put that kit in my 71 Chevelle

i would think taht since teh transfer case bolts onto teh tranny all you woudl need to do is get a tail housing from a 2wd version and bolt it on. that is the way the new venture cases are for teh older th350 and th400 applications at least.
