personally id skip the shift kit. I’m a firm believer in Don’t fix what ain’t broke. If you go messing with shift timing then it causes premature clutch failure. Ever wonder why a factory trans lasts 100k+ miles and a rebuilt unit with a shift kit lasts about 45k Miles. That’s because the shift kit slowly kills it. I drill the plate to let more fluid flow and improve upon the internal leaks, put improved clutch packs and hard parts in. Keep it simple. My installer followed all of Dana's instructions to the letter and the result has been satisfying performance year after year. |
