roadrunner converters anyone ever dealth with this company? under some new budget constraints currently but my car desparately needs a converter and freshened or replaced 4l60 and im tired of limping my ws6 around with fried clutch packs and a non lockup converter someone put in before me https://www.roadrunnerconverters.com...00-3800-stall/ |
It does not have a billet cover, therefore the TCC will not hold up. |
I've run similar PTC converters and had no trouble with the clutch. Trans was tuned properly though not allowing lock up during moderate to heavy loads. |

thanks guys. things have just been hectic and kids and stuff and a full built setup and the FTI or Vig converter I want is def out of budget for now but im limping the car around. 1-2 shift slips and if I hammer it in any gear it just bounces off redline. and I think somehow it has a stock style converter that doesn't lock up. Im running almost 3k rpm at 60 with 3.73's. never feels like its locked no matter what speed. I just have to play nice if I end up with a used unit in her for now lol |
