Default roadrunner converters

anyone ever dealth with this company? under some new budget constraints currently but my car desparately needs a converter and freshened or replaced 4l60 and im tired of limping my ws6 around with fried clutch packs and a non lockup converter someone put in before me

It does not have a billet cover, therefore the TCC will not hold up.

I've run similar PTC converters and had no trouble with the clutch. Trans was tuned properly though not allowing lock up during moderate to heavy loads.

This. I too have a non-billet PTC converter and as long as everything is tuned properly it should be fine. OP for $450, PTC is hard to beat and they will build it per your car's specs and if you're on a tight budget like you said give them a call.

thanks guys. things have just been hectic and kids and stuff and a full built setup and the FTI or Vig converter I want is def out of budget for now but im limping the car around. 1-2 shift slips and if I hammer it in any gear it just bounces off redline. and I think somehow it has a stock style converter that doesn't lock up. Im running almost 3k rpm at 60 with 3.73's. never feels like its locked no matter what speed. I just have to play nice if I end up with a used unit in her for now lol
