What transmission is best recommended for a 08 5.3 silverado cammed daily driven , I can already feel my 4l60 giving up already

for a cammed 5.3 the 4l60e is more than adequate. a 4l80e swap would be a huge waste of time, energy, money, etc

Just find someone who's not a moron that can rebuild it and it'll be fine

I agree with MaroonMonsterLS1, Properly built 4L60E's live at 500HP plus. Just be honest with yourself and the builder of your intended use. I had a guy tell me he was 500HP and his trans only lasted 6-months. Then he told me about the 200 shot of nitrous. I changed some things to match the new information. 2 years later it's still good to go with the latest update.
