Question 4L60E pan

I have an 2006 Colorado Crew cab 2WD. I'm wondering if i can swap out pans with a diffrent 4L60E. Currently with my automatic I have the shallow pan. all i want to do i swap it out with a deep pan from a stock 4L60E. If i can swap it out with the filter no problem with bolts and everything lining up I'd be a happy camper. If there are any 4L60E pros out there could you let me know what issues I'll run into.

the stock GM deep pan was made for trucks....cant imagine much issue with fitment.......you do have to run the different deep pan filter

You should use the "dipstick stop" from the transmission with the deeper pan. It is bolted to the valve body at the corner where the dipstick tube enters the pan. This will give you the accurate reading on the dipstick when using the deeper pan.
