Default Rebuilt 4l60e question

I just had my 4l60e rebuilt, all stock with the new service updated and a new stock converter. Road test revealed a big gap between 1st and 2nd and I'm not sure if the converter is going into lock up. If it is it's going in with 3 4 shift. Anyone got any suggestions. Thanks

"service updated"...explain what you mean here

"big gap"...what do you mean? Like 2nd is shifting later than you're used to...it slips into 2nd?

Here's the other big questions...have you checked fluid level...have you done a line pressure test...have you used a scanner to check that the proper gear/lockup is being commanded by the computer. These are all basic diagnostic tests that should be done anytime you have an issue like this
