Default New Converter, Odd Shifting

Afternoon All,

Second post on here after a long hiatus, however y'all are about my only source of assistance in regards to where im located right now (not a bunch of hands on folks here in west florida). Also I have searched this topic on here and HPTuner forums with little to no success. I removed an old 2800 Circle D converter that was leaving me with 2.6 60's and picked up a 3500 TCI lockup. After install at the track I noticed that WOT 1/2 shifts were not happening, and I would have to come out of WOT and go to part throttle to get the shift done, let her roll out a bit and then get back on it to power through the rest of the pass. I have adjusted the MPH down, as well as the RPM, checked TPS voltage and even pulled back tunes from folks with similar setups to mine. I have only gotten it to WOT shift to 2 cleanly one time and that was prior to the car being fully warmed up. Hot trans temp on a 95* florida day was 183 at the highest. Also my downshift will kick from 3 to 2 for a moment and then back to 1 and hit the limiter. My next course of action is going to be to continually drop the RPM factor lower and ensure that it will grab second at some point and that maybe its just due to TCI being super loose. Part throttle putting around town it shifts perfectly fine, and fluid level is right on the money with the only exception being that if its super hot out and Ive beat it hard (haha) it will be a touch above max.

The car is a 98 T/A with 4L60E, LQ4, heads, cam, intake, headers and 3.23s. I can provide the .hpt and a few .hpls if someone would be willing to look over this for a sanity check. Any help would be great! Hopefully the internals on the trans are still good, however the car shifted perfectly prior to the 3500 going in.

Thanks,
-Max
