Default Wiring connectors - trubble

Having a tough time trying to push the wiring connections together...these are on the neutral safety switch area. They slide okay to the end of the first 'rib' on the rubber/plastic thingy

This is a 1995 4l60e. Surprised to run into this difficulty. Any special trick to reconnecting them? Couldn't find anything in the stickies or anyplace else.

Put a little grease on the rubber seal and around the inside edge of the switch.

The NNS plugs have a glue on them. You need to heat up the plugs and connector with a hair dryer or heat gun and they will slide back in.
