Default Scarf cut stator seals

Anyone use them? Thoughts?

Just brought a remanned pump and it has the older style blue scarf cut stator teflon seals. Obviously not ideal, I have the resize tool for the solid ones but have to wait a few days before they arrive =(

There was never a problem with these. I have used these since the beginning, without any problems. The scarf cut rings were a problem (higher pressure leaked over to the other lower pressure side of the sealing ring) with the very early 700R4's. The solid rings eliminated the leak over problem. That problem does not exist here, as the pressure is on one side of the ring only.
