You ever taken apart a video game controller...and see how they get it to shake in your hands...like when you fire a rifle on the game or whatever.
Just a big weight off center on a spinning axis...and the off balance shakes the controller all to hell
That's what you're doing...with a 40 lb torque converter on an engine that idles at probably 600rpm and cruises at 2000
Take a guess at what kind of damage you think it could do...engine, trans, cracked flexplate, etc etc

So his definitely needs to be fixed.
The GM55 converter I have is from the trailblazer, if I remember correctly thats a converter that circle D bought and reworked and sold as a budget converter. So it must not be a problem. I will definitely take some pics of it though.
